I was recently on vacation with my wife in northern Wisconsin. Everynight we had a campfire down on the beach of my grandparents lake they live on. What we love about up there is that there is no light pollution, allowing you to see an unbelievable amount of stars. The milky way is clearly visible as well as dozens of satelites. As you look up, there is ALWAYS something moving. After observing a few shooting stars and about a dozen satelites, something else streaked across the sky. The object appeared very small, my guess is that it was extremely high up (much higher than any airplane - I'm guess satellite height). The object blinked at a rate of about once every 1/2 second. It streaked across the sky from our right for about 4 blinks, changed directions 90 DEGREES right for 3 blinks and changed direction again 90 DEGREES left and continued out of sight across the sky. Now, I saw dozens of objects in the sky that night that I did not assume were UFO's, but someone please tell me what extremely high flying object can move at speeds that fast and change direction so quickly and dramatically.

It was such an amazing experience for us. Not scary in the least. We felt lucky to have witnessed something some will never. It was almost comforting.
