It's hottern' hell all over the place in the US. Just a reminder to pet owners not to leave them in the car even for a little while. Cars are ovens in the summer. Temps can soar over 150 degrees. Cracking the windows doesn't work. Take 'em with you when you leave your car.

And always have plenty of cool water for them when they're out in the heat. Remember that dogs and cats can't disperse heat like we do through sweating, AND they wear a permanent fur coat.
