Good advice. I worked for a temp agency after college upon moving to a new city. The securities company (stocks, not nightsticks) I worked in for the temp agency ended up hiring me full-time in a professional position.

I worked for an excavation and grading company one Summer during my college years. It was difficult and hot, but it paid well. At the end of the day, I really felt like I earned my pay.
