That all depends... you can advance your diet to what you can tolerate. No real need to wait a full 24 hours. Many people (especially the younger folk) will puke for no real reason (probably related to nerves) and feel just fine.
They actually make ginger suckers. I use them for my pregnant patients alot, and they work wonders. Not to mention very tasty!
