I play online, and in local tournaments alot. I like to think of myself as a pretty decent player. I learned online, losing a little bit of money, but after about the first 7-8 months, I steadliy do well in small Sit'n'go's on PokerStars. I'll just say all in all, on PS I'm ahead of what I put in and lost.
I will go out on a limb and tell you a pro will never, ever win another Main Even at the WSOP. Lots of those guys out there earn spots through online poker. And I will say online poker is not even close to a live game. Those pro's have alot of trouble reading guys with really no clue on a live table.
Fossilman showed he was no fluke, finishing 25th, thats very surprising. He also had 2 very strong showings in Europe since his WSOP win. The worst I've seen him play was his meltdown on the champion of champions table after the WSOP.
