do you really think that im going to get excited to see #1 seed (dallas,colorado or whoever) play against the columbus blue jackets or whoever slips into that #10 playoff spot i mean come on

playoffs will be longer more dragged out more boring than ever....
i understand the whole need new inventive ways of getting fans back but this is rediculious
fyi NHL made 2.1billion in the 2003-2004 season....
somehow they think they will make 1.7 billion in revenue
well first they need to get a major cable media contract....
