No such like with my wife. With an ex-gf I've there was a couple of hits. When we first went out and discussed backgrounds, it turns out that her ex-bf was the brother of one of my friends. (They have since married - I went to the wedding.) Also, one her drinking buddies married my best friend - I was the best man. Didn't realize the connection until about a year after they were married. This actually has turned out better because there is no need to hide stories that could embarass - we are all married and not to each other.
