My husband and I went to the same highschool at the same time and even worked at the same grocery store at the same time and never knew each other. He has a group picture somewhere of when I was like 17 or 18 and he was 15 or 16 and we are both in it at the grocery store. Also we knew a lot of the same people.
Years after that we hung out at the same bar all the time. It was a REALLY small place so we must have just missed each other numerous times. We even spoke to the same people there.
Like Shani said though, I wouldn't have been ready and he DEFINATELY would not have been ready for what we share now, at that point in our lives.
Ultimately we met on date.com where I was looking around as a joke and his boss had put a profile for him because he wanted him to have a girlfriend. After all the emailing we talked on the phone and found out we lived 2 miles from each other!!
