These snapped wings of freedom
broken by my own hand
to stay grounded in your vision
pebbles of life between my bloodied toes
flight returns to wounded eagles
with nurture from the goddess
feeding from her open mouth
accepting her path wherever it goes
take what I am within yourself
and use me for needs you see
it is in the loving that you prevail
for now, for I will leave as knowledge grows
and what I teach your body knows
for she decides what life bestows
recieve from me these tender blows
