First shot at applying a double rhyme pattern to poetry. Each line rhymes with every other line. Rushed, but true and genuine

You took my affection as a shock but all the while I had thought..
It was obvious
Somehow the connection was off, ignored, tossed away or blocked off
Perhaps not wanting us
To be more than friends I obssessed and then.. finally our talks stopped
Crash, times pass for wanting love
I've moved on as I know you have and you've had time to heal your soft spot
Face facts, we're no longer talking much

Perhaps never again.
