Another suggestion . . . if it's a jersey that really means a lot to you, although it's kind of a pain in the ass, you could always hand wash it in the sink with a liquid detergent for delicates (I use one made by Ecover that's great!) Or, wash it on the delicate cycle (inside out like Mal suggested). The dryer is much more damaging than washing, but if it's a special jersey . . . I know it sounds funny but I always wash my S/O Giant's jerseys on delicate setting with my undies and stuff
