On the contrary.. it's in the darker of the two images that I turned the flash on, to try to stabilise the slightly blurry images taken without it, as the light was beginning to fade...
As I said, I'm not out to contradict any theories.. I just wanna see what other people think

Although surprisingly it was a very dry day/ evening...
I'm not so sure about the 'water droplets' theory.. surely it would have appeared in some of my other shots, which it hasn't
