It takes a little while to get used to making the switch, but it's totally worth it. I remember not knowing how to even install a program when I got mine. It's so much more simple than windows that I couldn't figure it out :P
if you happen to get your hands on Photoshop, it can import pictures off digital cameras itself, and it's a little more organized than iPhoto, which has a really weird way of storing files.
