Here's the situation--I am moving to Germany for a year at the end of August. I've been dating this girl since the beginning of February. I love her, she loves me. I'm trying to decide whether I want to try a long distance relationship while I'm gone, knowing full well that I'll be lucky if I see her twice in that year period.

I realize this is a decision that I have to make for myself, I'm just looking for some input. Part of me thinks its a bad idea to try it--a year is a long time, and I don't want to be tied down. Another part of me realizes she's a great girl and I might be stupid to let her go.

Any thoughts? I've really been thinking this one over a lot recently, and haven't really gotten anywhere with it.
