If proof truly came out that it was our government that caused 9/11.....

well if no proof could pin it to Bush but that it was a "rogue" action taken by a few.... the GOP would blame Clinton.... the Dems would blame Bush and I think we'd have investigations but nothing would happen.... just the "a rogue group did it and the gov't truly knew nothing".

If it could be proven Bush or someone inside Bush's admin had some knowledge of it coming or did it..... I think that would end the GOP as we know it. They would never again (or at least in a lifetime or two) have any power. And the Dems would suffer also, just not to the same degree.

But if it got too close to proving Bush's admin was involved..... I think the investigation would stop and both parties would work to cover it up so that both parties would keep the power.

I think people are so distrusting of government and the parties anyway that it would pretty much destroy our country as we would look for a savior who would probably be worse.

I find that people just thinking that it was possible is scary. Of course our country's nature is such that we are always distrusting of the government in some way.

My response is, "I like to put forks in an eletrical socket, just LOVE that feeling, can't ever get enough of it, so will you let me put this copper fork in that electric socket?"
