Sashime76, what if the situation was reversed? If you gathered a group and visited your aunts in Taiwan, would they cover all expenses without a second thought, or would they expect you to shell out some dough? I have a few family members that don't even think about spending money on anything other than their flight into my city. They just expect me and whoever's with me to cover food, lodgings, etc. However, if I went to theirs, they would tell me to stop reaching for my wallet.
If it's a give-and-take like that, then I don't really see a problem. However, nothing's worse than a true, dyed-in-the-wool, selfish freeloader.
