Hey as much as I'd like to buy one of those insipid "I support our troops" magnets to slap on my car, I already spent the money. Whenever I see a vet selling the goofy, little fake poppies to support disabled veterans, I grab the biggest bill in my wallet and stick it in his hand. Then I ask him where he served and thank him.
This war...this administration...sigh...don't get me started. But I support my troops 100%. I will continue to agitate, to cartoon, to write and to make political donations all with the idea of bringing our troops home safe and sound.
God bless the brave men and women who we put in harm's way.

I agree 100% with you, clavus.
Being on a college campus and being in the age group that contains the most active soldiers...I have seen lots of friends and acquaintances get shipped out since Sept. 11th. My best friend from high school had to live for a year without her husband after they had just married as he was on active duty in Kuwait.
I never forget what they do for me and my country and I always thank them profusely for what they have done and keep doing.
