I read the OP yesterday, and I was just returning to it now to post the same thing that
macmanmike6100 just beat me to posting.
Remember, it's just television. No matter how clear the picture is, it doesn't improve the content of the show you are watching. Selling a car in order to have a clearer TV picture does not sound like a wise investment.
