First of all, don't use capitals for your post. That denotes screaming, and is considered rude by some.
As for the CD drive, take of the bottom cover of the laptop. There should be 8 to 10 screws that hold it in place. What you are looking for is the FCC label on the CD drive itself inside the laptopn case. It is usually on the bottom of the actual unit in laptop CD drives.
Once you are looking at the label, look for the manufacturer and model number. If there is none, use the FCC id of the unit to look it up on the FCC page. The search by id function on the FCC page is buried somewhere in their site, so I hope another TFP member can point you to a direct link.
Once you have the model # and manufacturer, call or email their sales office and ask for a price qoute for a replacement, or ask if this is a known issue to their tech Dept.
It sounds to me like the eject mechanics have become faulty, which is sadly common in laptops over 24 months of age, but not common in newer laptops.
For that matter though, at only 5 months, should your warrenty cover this?
