Reinstall CD drivers?
Reinstall OS?
Did you try to eject in the middle of it doing something heavy? (E.g burning stuff)
In short, something's changed. Try to find it, I'll wager there's a setting somewhere within the drive configuration that's causing it.
If all else fails back everything up and either restore the system to an earlier point or reinstall the OS.
