I think you're getting me confused with someone else, hahaha.. I've always been a "blame the kid" type of person. I hate when people need to find someone to blame, so they either blame the parents or the movies instead of realizing that maybe the kid had a screw loose. Kids have been watching movies with guns and whatever for decades, and it wasn't a problem until recently... so if a kid copies what he sees from Star Wars and cuts someone's head off, the kid has probs.
Anyway, like I said, the movie is PG-13. It's made up sci-fi. Kids learn more "bad things" in a day at school than they ever will from watching Star Wars movies.
My brother is 8 and I'd easily say this is okay for him. It's not bad at all. Then again, I'd let him watch a good ol classic like Night of the Living Dead, so you might not wanna listen to me
