I've been thinking.. again.. I wonder if the women that say they want a child to complete them are the type of people that need validation through others? Like in the way that
la petite moi's Mum is. Are they the type that will live 'through' their children, forcing them in the direction they wanted to go.. then when the child grows and wants a life of their own and to persue their own goals, their mothers find their behaviour appauling or cannot relate to their children at all. Then sit around depressed for the rest of their life because they really have nothing.
I'm probably just stating the obvious here.. but I'm not sure what I would say to someone if they told me they wanted a child to complete them.. Maybe I should lighten up as I suppose some women might mean it in the way that, that is what they have planned as their life's goal.. so to have a child or children would complete their plans... (
