OK, I'm bored:

Playing around on mobissimo... not having your exact dates makes it harder.. but.. assuming a saturday stay..

you can book a round trop from Winnipeg to London for about 1300 on Air Canada.
THEN
book another round trip from London to Cairo for under 1000 dollars on either Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, Aliitalia, or Air France

OR

Book a flight from Winnipeg to Newark, NJ for about 656 canadian on British Airways (I think)
THEN
Go from Newark to Cairo for under 1400 Canadian on Aliitalia...
