A few weeks ago I posted about a video card problem i was having with my dell computer...
turns out my computer was still under warranty and the video card was covered! I called dell to set up an appointment and 2 days later they came and installed a new video card and a new cpu fan.
I was expecting a very lengthy fight with their tech support people but after chatting with them for about an hour trying different things to determine if it was my card or driver i was having problems with, they said ok well just replace the card. No problems whatsoever.
Say what you will about dell but the few times i have had to deal with tech support they have been great.

incidentally the person they sent out said it was most likely the memory on the video card that went bad? didn't know that could even happen.
