In England its currently costing around 79.9pence to 80p a LITRE (or liter as per U.S. Spelling) - we converted to litres to "be in line with europe" which no-one wanted, but thats another story...
This means around $1.52 a litre (at current money conversion to $US)
There are about 4 litres to a gallon, which makes the price an amazing
$6.08 a gallon!
We then pay "road tax" at about $300 a year (not including insurance etc), and it now costs me £5 or $9 a day to drive into London during the week.
The government tax the shit out of us.... you guys better get used to it coz its coming to you soon.
