If the instructions say shaving cream is not necessary but you are still getting razor burn I would suggest you use shaving cream then. Buy a standard can of Colgate shaving cream. It is inexpensive and if you only use it on that portion of your face it will last you several months. Surely you can spare and extra $12.00 a year to prevent razor burn? I hope things work out for you.
