I ended up booking at intercontinental downtown. I called all of the above places, and some were rude and non accomodating, and some were just rediculously priced.
Here is what Im getting:
Lanson Champagne
strawberries dipped in chcolate
turn down service with truffles and rose petals
breakfast in bed
bath butler (guy comes to your room and professionally draws your bath with ancient oils, etc)
Grand total of $299 plus tax.
Windsor arms wanted 450 just for the room, and 3.50 per strawberry, 60 for champagne...nuts. Harbor castle was all booked up...Le Germain is not for me. Royal York had a nice package, but I am planning a double massage at a spa, so I'd rather save a couple hundred on the hotel and spend on that.
I have spoken to many, and Intercontinental is supposedly stunning.
