I'll put in a vote for the Royal York. It's a great place, and the staff are wonderful. Granted, I never actually stayed there (I was living in Toronto at the time, my aunt and uncle came down for a week and I went to visit) but their room, which I believe was a suite, was amazing. Also, I had been offered twice by two different staff members to carry my computer bag up to the room for me.
