I have the same situation as your wife, and I've found it works really well when I'm on top- after insertion, I move towards my husband's feet slightly until I can stimulate myself on his penis as it goes in and out. He really enjoys this too ;-) It takes some playing around to find the best spot, but she should definitely give it a try.
Also, my husband doesn't mind when I "help myself" by using my fingers when we're in positions that aren't favorable for clitoral stumilation.
