From everything that i've read, 3kgt's are not all that great of cars. Despite their awesome looks, and massive power, they are just not worth it in the end. Mitsu puts out a lot of shitty products, and that kind of car is going to have been beat on.

If you have your heart set on a TT car, i'd go with a 300zx over a 3kgt every day of the week. With an original price tag of close to 45k, the 300zx, if with its original owner, is going to be a lot better. Not to mention look nicer.

The trannys are also quite weak, the auto's especially. The DSM community has a lot of info on these types of cars; check out Http://www.dsmtalk.com . If you buy one, you'll spend more time on that site than you want to -_^.
