When I moved into my house a year ago, I had a brand new toilet that trickled constantly.

This was due to sediment from the pipes getting caught in the membrane mechanism that shut off our water...making pinholes & preventing a true seal. It got worse over time.

I could have called for repair work, but that generally tkaes time. A $6 trip to Home Depot & some on-the-job training fixed it>
