both myself and my partner try to keep things trim and clean down there, so it's not really an issue. that said, I prefer it if he's washed recently, but it doesn't have to have been a few minutes ago. Mainly because I'm prone to infections so if he hasn't washed I'm more likely to get something up there that way. I like his smell...and also smell his armpits. Out of courtesy, I don't usually let him go down on me if things aren't sqeaky clean...but that's just me, I don't feel comfortable with it otherwise and it spoils it for me.
