I've got scoleosis (sp?) which means my spine curves off a little to my left around the small of my back. I used to get crippling pain in my back and wouldn't even be able to get out of bed on the worst days. I slanted to the side when I tried to stand up straight (I was naturally tilted, so to speak). I started seeing a chiropractor and within a handful of visits I could feel a huge improvement. Chiropractic could be the answer, but like HH said, go see a doctor first.
