ok here we go (cracks knuckles). The 3000gt is a sport luxury coupe designed in conjunction by dodge and mitsubishi. (mostly mitsu, but dodge also sold it as the Stealth R/T). It is a fairly large car, and is by no means light, so dont think itll handle like a go kart or anything. Since you are looking at a vr4, that means you get the lovely twin turbo 4wd model. I hope you plan on getting it with a manual trans, because if its auto theres no point to owning a sports car. The vr4 is pretty darn fast stock, and with some work and some parts it can be REAL fast. They drive fairly smooth, and are relatively roomy for a sports car. The brakes are pretty solid from what ive seen, and they dont seem to break to much. The only things to think about are; its a '91 so it prolly have a fair amount of miles on it, and turbos age along with every other part of the car. Check for things like shaft play in the turbo (get in there and wiggle on the shaft in the turbine, if it moves pretty much at all, you may need to rebuild the turbo in the future). MPG of the car will prolly be something like 18-19 city, 22 ish freeway, depending how much you hammer on the gas (thats a fun car to throttle). Also realize that insurance wont be great on it. Oh and last, they come with stock 17 or 18 inch wheels and somewhat lo pro tires, so avoid potholes.
