I admit I have a slight fascination with the plastic surgery phenomenon. I won't voluntarily watch it, but if I happen to see it while surfing channels, I might stop to watch out of curiousity. I watched a report about how a lot of woman travel to other countries, particularly the Dominican Republic, to get cheaper prices on plastic surgery. A lot of times, they hear through word of mouth, and are completely trusting to an unknown doctor without researching at all. There have been a lot of botched jobs that are pretty disgusting... I don't think it's worth the risk.
I saw one episode where a high school music teacher had plastic surgery. I thought there was *nothing* wrong with how she looked other than, she was aging. But I even thought she aged gracefully. There was a big controversy in her town about her plastic surgery because they didn't think it was good for a teacher role model to do that. What do you all think?
