As for the price, it looks like water color so that puts it on a lower price tier so I'd say $1000 would be a fair price. I would go plexi glass, as long as people will be handling your work (putting them on the wall, taking them down, transporting etc.) you don't want to provide them with something breakable, learn from my mistake on this.
