Question on submitting work for a show
i wanted to get some of your opinions. i am submitting 5 pieces (only 5 are allowed) for a government funded program where they purchase and display works or county residents. so far i have narrowed it down to eight. these pieces come from a series titled "nocturnes and dreamscapes"
these three i have choosen for sure one 32" x 9" two 18" x 30" three 27" x 9" and i am trying to pick two more from these five four 38" x 20" five 20" x 20" six 20" x 38" seven 20" x 38" eight 20" x 38" so what do you all think? I am leaning towards four and eight... also, what do you think of an asking price of $1000 - $1200 each including frame and glass (or plexi) |

I like 5 more than 4.
As for the price, it looks like water color so that puts it on a lower price tier so I'd say $1000 would be a fair price. I would go plexi glass, as long as people will be handling your work (putting them on the wall, taking them down, transporting etc.) you don't want to provide them with something breakable, learn from my mistake on this. |

Seven and five are my favourite, also like 8 but think the other two show more diversity and as such add to your work. I don't know much about art, i can only tell you what i like.
