Where did you read that? That wasn't in any of the literature I read or the information I received from my RNP. From what I understood you can take it out for up to three hours pretty regularly. You only have to leave it in for seven days straight if it's out for more than three hours, as it says above (that passage is taken directly from the prescription info packet).
How long does it usually take you to have sex? Probably less than three hours from start to finish. So taking it out every couple of days is no biggie. Besides which, your guy shouldn't be able to feel it or notice it if it's placed correctly.
