I'm assuming you are in the US, if you want to file a complaint about her, contact your state medical board -- the number should be easily found in the phone book, they will probably interview you on the phone for a bit, then send you the appropriate forms that will need to be filled out.

When you contact the doctor, be sure to contact the administrator of the practice or hospital she is working in as well

It's probably not too late for a malpractice suit, but remember doctors are human, and negligence is quite difficult to prove, but you might want to contact a lawyer that handles medical malpractice.
