My wife uses the NuvaRing as well. I don't ever notice it except for with my fingers occassionally. It bothers her more than it does me, as she worries that it will "get in the way". If we are having a long night of sex, she feels comfortable taking it out. Nikki is right, no problem taking it out for a few hours, rinsing it off and re-inserting after sex. Hope this helps!
