A major media comglomerate like MTV actually being told what to do by society instead of the other way around. And the video is actually good, not a boy band or stupid booty shakin rap video.

MTV is in the business of doing what appeals to society. I wouldnt want to know what would air on MTV if they played what society didnt want. Those "booty shakin rap" videos are what most MTV watchers want to see, thats why they play them.
