My sig other has been on the Ring since we began going out. She's the only one with whom I've had sex, so judge my comments accordingly I guess. I have almost never noticed or felt the ring while having sex, much less the friction and discomfort you are describing. Naturally, often when I have a finger or two inside her when we mess around and/or when i'm eating her out, I can definitely feel it. But it has never bothered me either way.
Have you or Acetylene tried positioning the ring differently? I know that it kind of 'finds' its own spot to sit tight for three weeks, but maybe Acetylene could place it higher in her vagina? I don't know what would really work best, but experimenting with its location might help. Also, is missionary the only position in which you notice the Ring? Or do you also feel it in doggystyle and other positions?
