Acura door paneling.
I'm hoping there are a few of you who are familiar with Honda/Acura interiors who can help me out with this one. So today I was trying to take out my stock speakers in the front, on the door, and put in the new ones of my 97 3.2 TL. I ran into a problem getting the door panel off. I dont think that the door panel uses the clips to hold it in place, I think that the panel might be held on by a bolt.
I get this feeling because on the bottom left corner of the inside of the door panel, when I looked inside the panel, there was a big bolt lookin thing, as opposed to the clips that are used on the panels around the rest of the interior of the car. Another reason why I think this is because the door panel didn't pop off easily as if it were only held on by clips. I tried to pry it off, but I could only go so far, I didn't want to break the panel off and not be able to put it back on. I decided to just give it a rest seince I was running short on time, and hopefully I can attack it next time knowing what to do with that bolt.
Anyone out there familiar with Acura door panels that can verify/correct my theorem?
