I find that Hardwired is easy on the eyes, and the icons are pretty straightforward. On the index, a dot means a forum has no new posts, and arrow means new posts. In each forum, a small triangle and bold title mean a thread has new posts, a regular title means it doesn't.

I am currently using this skin, and I like everything except for the icons. They don't really jump out and say "Hey, come over here!! There's a new post."
I'll start searching for some more skins. What's your policy on the legality of the skins???
