Do some cardio, like running. You can't "spot trim" our bodies store fat evenly throughout the bodies fat storage areas. Keep doing what you are doing, because that will build the muscles, which will give you the definition you want once the surface fat is gone.
Also any weight training or resistance training will help boost muscle growth, which in turn will increase your overall metabolism. And don't worry, lifting weights won't make you "huge"
