Well, in a dash of cynicism (and especially after Ribs' exhausting thread from last week on the same topic), I will say this: I no longer believe in waiting till marriage to have sex, but I do believe in being mature enough to buy a friggin' pregnancy test as a prerequisite.
If you are a virgin (guy or girl) and you can't envision yourself going to the store and purchasing a pregnancy test because you are too embarrassed about the idea, then you SHOULD NOT be having sex, or any kind of mutual genital contact that will freak you out. Your extreme panic means that you are not emotionally ready for the consequences of intercourse.
If anyone disagrees with me, I'd like to hear.
