A sligt difference if done properly I'd imagine. It all has to do with light and how it refracts from the inner surfaces. A different cut in the culet could change the way the light behaves in the stone, make it refract more (or less) times against other surfaces.
The dynamics of light in diamonds isn't my speciality though..
