I've been to the Borgata on a number of occasions and they waitresses there are definitely head turners. More so when you compare them to the other hotel/casinos in Atlantic City. The article is spot on when it says "They're doing well because they've tapped into a segment of the market that wasn't coming to Atlantic City."
This place was crowded each time I was there and it didn't seem to matter what night of the week. If you compare their occupancy and/or utilization rate (tables/slots, etc) they are definitely kicking arse compared to the places on the boardwalk. The Trop-aka-Slopicana.....eeeeh not so much.
The Borgata is glitz and glam and the waitresses reflect the sex appeal of the place. Is the weight issue right or wrong...I dunno. I'd go back to the Slopicana if there was no Borgata but I do prefer the later. Maybe that makes me a pig...right now I'm too tired to care.
