Had a great visit.. stayed in two different hotels...
HH Campomanes
Small boutique hotel in Old Madrid near the Opera House and Palacio Real. 99 Euros and it included breakfast.
And
Hotel Preciados at 129 Euros no breakfast. It was just a few blocks from Campomanes, but was a bit more upscale towards business travellers. No breakfast, but free minibar.
