Actually immediately following a workout your body is looking to replace glycogen stores spent during (presumably) instense exercise. Not that protien absorption isn't enhanced but the repair of fast twist muscle fibre and it's associated metabolic chemistry takes place primarily at rest.
Back to the original question...
Try a package of the Myoplex Deluxe chocolate. If your diet can take the calories mix it with skim milk. It's VERY good although the newer formula is a bit more fibrous than previous versions.
